Device Information Monitoring Overview

When RICOH Smart Integration Monitoring Device is installed on a device, information from the device is sent to the cloud.

Operating requirements

  • The device can connect to an external network and to the cloud.

  • The correct date and time are set on the MFP.

Note

  • If any of the following conditions are met by a device, no device information is sent to the cloud. Check the status of the device and network.

    • The device is not turned on.

    • The device is not connected to the network.

    • The device is in energy-saving mode.

    • The device cannot communicate with the cloud because of the settings (such as proxy and firewall settings) of the network environment that the device uses.

    • A system error has occurred on RICOH Smart Integration Monitoring Device or the cloud.
