Custom Properties
The device administrator can use a custom property to define an item name and assign a value for each device as needed. Information for management can be added to each device.

Custom Properties come with the following design limitations on the number and length of item names and values:
Number of item names that can be defined | 10 |
Number of characters that can be used for an item name | 1 to 128 characters Single- or double-byte |
Number of characters that can be used for a value | 0 to 128 characters Single- or double-byte |
Initial value of an item name | Custom Property1 through Custom Property10 |
Initial value of a value | (Empty) |
How to define a custom property
Scroll the Device Details screen to display "Custom properties".
Double-click the [Label name] field to enter any label name.
Click 
in the cell to confirm the entry.
Double-click the [Value] field to enter any value.
Click in the cell to fix the entry.
